Thursday's Heroes & Helpers

There are so many people making a difference in the community amid the coronavirus pandemic and we want to honor their efforts.

We'd like to thank Susie Jones. Susie has made over 800 masks since quarantine started. She hasn't sold a single one, instead she's given them out for free to CHELCO workers, Walgreen's employees, nursing homes, and so many other places.

She's done it all at her kitchen table with her sewing machine in Defuniak Springs with help from her granddaughter.
