Top Okaloosa School District official arrested in connection to abuse allegations

OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - A fourth arrest has been made following an ongoing Okaloosa School District investigation

Monday, Okaloosa School District Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources, 44-year-old Stacie Smith, was arrested in connection to the alleged child abuse at Kenwood Elementary School.

Smith is facing three counts of third degree felony charges for failure to report suspected child abuse.
