MARIANNA, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Jackson County is already getting into the Christmas spirit!
The annual Toys for Tots donation drive kicked off this week.
Last year officials say they were able to give back to more than 800 children.
This year almost 100 businesses, restaurants, and offices throughout Jackson County have collection boxes set up.
Coordinators say the holiday season is all about giving back to those in need.
Tom Perry, the Co-Coordinator for Jackson County Toys For Tots said, “It’s a Marine Corp tradition, they’ve been doing it since 1947. Children that are growing up today need all the help and support they can get. They’re going to be our future leaders.”
