All planned construction activities are weather dependent and may be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather. Drivers are reminded to pay attention to the reduced speed limit when traveling through the construction area.<br />(MGN).(WJHG)

Drivers will encounter traffic disruptions on the following state roads in Bay and Jackson counties as crews perform construction and maintenance activities.

Bay County:

-State Road (S.R.) 390 from Baldwin Road to Jenks Avenue – Northshore Road will be reduced to one lane approaching the S.R. 390 intersection Wednesday, April 22 from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Crews will be milling, paving, and applying new pavement striping. Traffic flaggers will be on-site to guide drivers through the work zone.

-S.R. 390 from Jenks Avenue to S.R. 77 - S.R. 390 will be reduced to one travel lane between Mowat School Road and 14th Street 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. Tuesday, April 21 through Wednesday, April 22. Traffic flaggers will be used to guide drivers safely through the work zone.

-S.R. 390 from 23rd Street to Baldwin Road - Water and sewer lines are being relocated in advance of widening the roadway. Work is taking place off the travel lanes with few, if any, traffic impacts. The speed limit is reduced to 35 mph. Please be alert for construction workers, vehicles, and equipment entering and exiting the roadway.

-East Avenue over Watson Bayou Bridge Replacement – Beginning Monday, April 20, East Avenue will be closed for new bridge construction. Additional improvements include reconstructing adjacent roadway approaches with earthwork, drainage, asphalt paving, guardrail, fencing and signing and pavement markings. Motorists will utilize marked detour routes through spring 2020.

-S.R. 77 from Southport to Highway 20 for Road Resurfacing - Motorist will encounter alternating single lane closures for road milling and resurfacing Monday, April 20 through Saturday, April 25 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. for road resurfacing activities.

-23rd Street Flyover Construction – Motorist will encounter daytime outside lane closures on Hathaway Bridge beginning Monday, April 20.

-S.R. 388 Roadway Construction – Drivers may experience intermittent daytime lane closures near the entrance of the Northwest Florida International Airport as barrier walls are being installed at West Bay Parkway.

Jackson County:

-U.S. 231 from north of S.R. 73 to north of Jacobs Road Resurfacing – Motorist will encounter alternating single lane closures for road milling and resurfacing Monday through Saturday during daytime hours. These closures are anticipated to continue through April 2020.

-I-10 over S.R. 276 for Routine Maintenance – Motorist will encounter intermittent eastbound lane closures Tuesday, April 21 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for routine bridge maintenance.

-S.R. 2 over Holmes Creek for Routine Maintenance – Motorist will encounter intermittent east and westbound lane closures Thursday, April 30 thru Friday, May 1 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for routine bridge maintenance.
