Local military bases are showing their appreciation for medical professionals and first responders leading the battle against the coronavirus COVID-19 by doing a flyover.

Tyndall Air Force Base fighter aircraft from the 325th Fighter Wing and the 33rd Fighter Wing will flyover the region Friday, officials said.

The tribute flight will include an F-22 Raptor, an F-35 Lightning , and two T-38 Talons.

Officials say you will be able to watch the flyover from the safety of your neighborhood and people should not gather in large groups to watch the flyover. They also say people shouldn't drive to the area of a flyover because it could hinder emergency vehicles from safely traveling to the hospitals in the area.

They flyover is a Tyndall and Eglin Air Force Base salute to medical professionals, essential business employees, emergency responders, and all American heroes on the frontlines of the fight against COVID-19.
