Good Tuesday morning everyone!
It's another beautiful morning with clear skies overhead and calm conditions. But that also led toward another chilly start. Most temperatures started in the 40s, 30s in Crestview and DFS, while the coast was a little closer to the upper 40s. Either way, it was chilly enough for all to opt for a jacket this morning.
The good news about today, this is the last little bit of our latest cold snap. We'll start the rebound later today as winds, not as breezy today, shift from the north this morning to the southwest this afternoon. That will help push temps on the coast into the low 70s, and the dry air warming up in an abundantly sunny afternoon inland will warm up temps to the mid 70s. You should be able to shed the jackets this afternoon!
The warming trend continues as we head into the midweek forecast. Southerly winds will also bring back the muggies by tomorrow, and that will keep overnight lows fairly seasonal to start on Wednesday in the 50s. Afternoon temperatures will get rather warm inland in the 80s Wednesday and Thursday.
However, another front is on the way for the end of the week. This one will not bring us any concern in the skies other than a few more clouds. But it will bring us a nice taste of less humid air, while keeping temperatures in the seasonal 70s heading into the weekend.
For today, abundant sunshine and turning a bit warmer in the afternoon with winds shifting to the southwest at 5-10mph. Highs today will reach the low 70s on the coast to mid 70s further north of the bays. Your 7 Day Forecast continues the sunny streak into the midweek as our warm up to a more seasonal feel continues.
