Good Tuesday morning everyone!
It's a quiet start over the Panhandle on radar even with some cloud cover cruising our skies. However, it's a foggy one! A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect through 8am this morning for visibility well below a mile and even down to zero in some locations. We'll need to plan for 5-10min extra out the door this morning if you're leaving before 7 or 8am for work to expect slower travels on our roads.
Otherwise, temperatures are cool in the low 50s for most. Once the sun comes up and we start to warm up a bit after 7am we'll start to see this fog deck lift out into a bit of morning clouds. Eventually they'll disperse through mid morning to mostly to partly sunny skies for the rest of the day. Some sunshine helps to warm us up to another mild afternoon where temperatures reach the upper 60s on the coast to low 70s inland.
A cold front is on approach from the northwest for tonight and tomorrow morning. It reinforces our partly cloudy skies overnight tonight but doesn't bring us any rain as we are just a bit too dry in our atmosphere. However, it does bring us some cooler more seasonal conditions to finish off the work week.
As that chilly air moves in on breezy northerly winds tomorrow we'll likely see temperatures only warm up to near 60 degrees under beautiful sunshine. We'll go colder into Thursday and Friday, especially in the mornings where temperatures may start out near freezing and highs only reach the mid to upper 50s.
For today, fog in the morning lifts out to mostly to partly sunny skies in the afternoon with highs near 71°. Your 7 Day Forecast brings in a cold front tonight into tomorrow morning where chilly winds take over and bring us back down to a seasonal feel tomorrow...chillier Thursday and Friday.
