Tuesday Forecast

Good Tuesday morning everyone!

It's a quiet start on radar despite clouds passing through and not much for fog as a cold front is helping to draw in some drier conditions. Temperatures are cool and pleasant with many starting out near 60 degrees or in the upper 50s. Those susceptible to feeling chilly may want a jacket for the early morning commute. But we'll be warming up into the mid 60s after 9am and with a little sunshine you should be able to shed the jackets for the rest of the day! With northeasterly winds behind last night's frontal passage, we'll see a very pleasant afternoon as temperatures warm into the upper 70s.

We should manage to see our skies gradually clear to mostly sunny skies as well as we fall at the base of a ridge of high pressure across the Ohio Valley. Clouds go back on the increase heading into tomorrow, however, as our next storm system develops across the Plains. A warm front extending across the North Central Gulf states will start to return cloud cover to our skies on Wednesday but we'll remain dry.

As the warm front and cold front with this system approach heading into Thursday we may be able to stir up a stray shower. But rain chances will remain low on Thursday along the warm front. The cold front passes through on Friday and that will be our best chance at seeing some scattered showers and rumbles of thunder passing through. The good news is we're seeing the tail end of this front and likely no dynamics for any severe storms.

Bottom Line...
For today, mostly sunny skies with pleasant spring-like highs in the upper 70s. Your 7Day Forecast keeps us running pretty good heading into Wednesday with just a bit more cloud cover in our skies, rain chances return at the end of the week.
