Tuesday Forecast

Good Tuesday morning everyone!

It's another quiet start over the Panhandle on Satellite and Radar as skies are clear this morning. We'll enjoy another beautiful sunny day over NWFL today.

Temperatures under the clear skies this morning and relatively light winds are chilly once again with many waking up in the 40s inland to near 50 on the coast. We'll need the jackets to start the day today, however, it won't stay chilly as long as it did yesterday morning! We should warm up a bit quicker into the 60s today, with many able to shed the extra layer after 9am. Abundant sunshine warms us up nicely through the daytime to highs today in the upper 70s near 80 degrees inland to mid 70s on the coast.

High pressure is overhead today and winds will be very light throughout the day. But eventually the high slides east tonight into tomorrow and a southerly wind will begin to develop heading into the midweek. That will increase our humidity slightly by tomorrow and prevent us from getting as cold Wednesday morning as lows should largely remain in the low to mid 50s tonight. The increasing moisture will lead toward a few more clouds puffing up tomorrow afternoon, especially inland, after an otherwise mainly sunny day. However, we won't see any rain chances developing until we have better lift and more moisture moving in.

Those two facets come together by the end of the week as southerly winds continue to pump in more warmth and moisture by Thursday and an approaching cold front provides the lift. We'll expect to see rain chances going up late in the afternoon and into Thursday night with scattered showers or thunderstorms. The better rain chance will be overnight Thursday night into Friday morning when the cold front passes through.

Bottom Line...
For today, abundant sunshine with seasonal highs in the upper 70s to near 80 inland, mid 70s on the coast. Your 7 Day Forecast keep us pretty nice and warming up through Wednesday with just a few clouds in the afternoon.
