Good Tuesday morning everyone!
It's a quiet start on radar this morning with clear skies overhead and just a few cirrus clouds in the far Western Sky. We'll be off to another beautiful and sunny start for NWFL today and feeling not as cool as yesterday for most.
Temperatures are starting out in the widespread 50s with only our typically cool spots able to touch off the upper 40s around Crestview. If you're out early around sunrise then you may still want the light jacket to start the day. However, we'll warm quickly this morning under the sun and I'd imagine many would not need the jacket after 8am. Highs today will reach the 80s inland to upper 70s on the coast as the onshore wind develops once again this afternoon.
We won't see our humidity rising too fast as that onshore wind develops today. But over the next couple afternoons as that onshore sea breeze continues to develop in the afternoons, we'll slowly start to increase the humidity. That increasing moisture will also lead toward a few more clouds developing in our skies after the mainly sunny day we'll see today.
With a ridge of high pressure in place for much of this week we may be only able to develop a few fair weather puffy low clouds in the afternoon tomorrow. They'll thicken up just a bit more with more high level cirrus clouds moving in by Thursday. However, we remain rain free for much of this week until late in the day or evening on Thursday and into Friday morning when our next system passes through.
For today, mainly sunny skies with highs returning to the upper 70s on the coast to low to mid 80s inland. Your 7 Day Forecast has another very similar day shaping up for Wednesday with clouds continuing to increase on Thursday ahead of our next rain chance Thursday night into Friday morning.
