Good Tuesday morning everyone!
It's a quiet start on satellite and radar this morning with clear skies overhead, and a lot more sunshine coming your way today!
Temperatures are cold out the door early on today. Many of us are waking up in the low to mid 40s with some of our cool spots in the upper 30s near Crestview and DFS. Good thing winds are light this morning and not taking too much off the actual temperature. Wind chills for most are in the upper 30s to low 40s.
We'll certainly need to dress warmly for the morning commute. But like yesterday, you'll be able to shed the extra layer by lunchtime as temperatures warm into the 60s under the abundant sunshine. Highs today reach the upper 60s near 70 on the coast to the low 70s inland this afternoon for a very seasonable day.
With high pressure gradually building in from the west, we'll get to enjoy more of this seasonable weather heading into the midweek. More sunshine heads our way tomorrow and Thursday and highs return to the low 70s in the afternoons both days after a couple more cold starts in the mornings.
Eventually this ridge of high pressure slides a bit further toward the east. The clockwise winds around this ridge will start to bring in a more southerly flow into Friday and Saturday. That will likely pump temperatures up into the mid 70s heading into the weekend ahead of another cold front on the way for the weekend.
Our next shot at a few passing showers is looking more likely to pass through on Saturday now followed by the cool down coming Saturday night into Sunday with highs returning to the 60s by the end of the weekend.
For today, abundant sunshine with seasonable highs near 70 degrees. Your 7 Day Forecast keeps us running with sunshine and seasonal highs through the midweek.
