Good Tuesday morning everyone!
Meteorologist Ryan Michaels pointing out some storms in the Southeast this morning.
It's another foggy start out the door this morning for some areas in NWFL. So go ahead and give yourself a few extra minutes out the door for slower travels. We'll have a Dense Fog Advisory in effect until 9am.
Otherwise, it's very mild and muggy with most waking up in the 60s. Unless you're susceptible to feeling chilly, you could most likely get away without needed the jacket, or a light one would do.
Once the fog lifts, we'll see it create a mix of sun and clouds and temperatures will stay rather steady through the morning in the 60s. The sunshine we do see should help push highs up into the mid to upper 70s this afternoon. Only exception may be coastal areas where onshore winds over the relatively cooler Gulf water temperatures could keep highs closer to 70°.
There's a weak stalled out warm front to our north that could be the trigger for a few stray showers heading into the day's end across the Southeast. We'll have only a 20% chance at catching one around sunset or into the early evening.
Otherwise, tomorrow is looking fairly similar as we sit underneath this warm front in a very mild and muggy air mass. More fog is expected to develop tonight as lows return to the 60s. We'll see the fog lift out to mostly cloudy skies tomorrow with highs returning to the 70s. Once again, that is very warm for this time of year as average highs are in the low 60s.
We'll carry this pattern into Thursday as well before a pair of cold fronts move in by the week's end helping to return our highs to a more seasonal feel by Sunday.
For today, morning fog gives way to a mix of sun and clouds with highs near 70 on the coast to the upper 70s inland. Your 7 Day Forecast keeps us stuck in this very spring-like feel through Thursday before we see changes come our way throughout the weekend.
