Good Tuesday morning everyone!
Meteorologist Ryan Michaels showing this morning's advisories.
We have some spotty light showers on radar this morning away from the coast in NWFL right now with otherwise thick clouds and fog out the door, especially along the coast. In fact, most of our day will be under clouds after the fog lifts out through the morning drive. I don't think it lasts much longer than 8 or 9am. But be careful as it could be patchy and dense in spots.
Otherwise, temperatures are fairly mild out with most waking up in the mid to upper 60s. Unless you're susceptible to feeling chilly, you may be able to get away with out the jacket this morning. It'll be a mild and muggy morning under the clouds but temperatures will continue to warm up through the day. Highs today should still manage the low 70s on the coast to upper 70s inland.
It is possible that a few sun breaks may show up in the clouds today. But an overall cloudiness is expected as showers and storms along a frontal range to our northeast continue to push clouds into NWFL. We still don't have enough lift to generate much more than a stray shower today or tomorrow as we wait front the frontal range to push deeper into the Southeast and overhead.
That won't happen until Thursday where a cold front will pass through and bring us our best chance at showers this week. Otherwise, we'll remain mild and muggy through the midweek until that front passes through with morning's in the 60s and afternoon's in the 70s.
For today, fog and clouds in the morning with a general cloudiness through the day. Highs today reach the low 70s on the coast to upper 70s inland. Your 7 Day Forecast keeps us running very mild under the clouds through the midweek with our best chance at rain returning on Thursday.
