Two were arrested on felony drug charges related to the illegal distribution of opioid pain pills.
Lynn Haven police officials say they worked with the Panama City Police Department, the Panama City Beach Police Department, the Bay County Sheriffs Office, and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration on the case.
They say Ashley Maree Kearns, 22, and Jennifer Diane Brainerd, 45, were arrested as a result of an undercover investigation. Officials say they were taken into custody after a search warrant was executed at Kearns' Lynn Haven residence. They say $400 worth of Oxycodone was taken from them.
According to officials, Kearns was charged with Conspiracy to Distribute Oxycodone, Possession of Oxycodone with the Intent to Distribute, and Unlawful Use of a Two-Way Communication Device in the Commission of a Felony.
Brainerd was charged with Conspiracy to Distribute Oxycodone.
