UPDATE: Officials make arrest in Friday's fatal wreck

Officials have made an arrest in connection with the fatal wreck from Friday night.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, Cody Austin Shirah, 21, was arrested Tuesday and charged with Driving Without a License Involving Death/Injury and Negligent Manslaughter Involving / Motor Vehicle.

A fourth person has died from a car crash late Friday night in Panama City.

The Florida Highway Patrol says Joshua Martin, 33, of Columbus, Ohio, died Monday from injuries he suffered in the crash Friday night.

Eric Anthony Young, 25, William M. Gouge II, 29, and Anthony Gouge, 30, all of Columbus, Ohio, were also killed in the crash.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, a third person has succumbed to injuries related to the crash. One of the five men in the van passed away on Sunday. Three of the five were killed, and other two remain in critical condition.

Two people were killed and several badly injured after a crash in Panama City late Friday.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Cody Austin Shirah, 21, and his passenger, Kristun Nichole Tullier, 21, were headed south on Pinetree Road around midnight Friday.

A second vehicle driven by Craig A. Jackson, 31, with Anthony A. Gouge, 30, and three other men, was heading west on County Road 2293 (John Pitts Road). All of them are from Ohio.

Troopers report Shirah didn't stop at a posted stop sign. The front of his vehicle collided with the right of Jackson's vehicle.

Shirah's vehicle came to rest on the south shoulder of John Pitts road after hitting a utility pole.

Anthony Gouge and another passenger were killed in the crash. The driver and two other passengers are listed in critical condition. Shirah and Tullier were also taken to the hospital with serious injures.
