PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Two people are in critical condition after a motorcycle crash in Panama City Beach.

Panama City Beach police say that Joshua Brummitt, 38, of Tennessee was traveling west on Front Beach Road on a 2015 Harley Davidson motorcycle when he failed to make the curve approaching Hutchinson Boulevard. He left the roadway, went through a fence, hit a parked box truck and landed on the service road in front of the Casa Loma Motel.

Officers say Brummitt is in critical condition. His passenger, Brandy George, 43, sustained serious injuries. Both were taken to Bay Medical Center for treatment.

Police say alcohol is a possible contributor in this traffic crash. This incident is still under investigation by the Traffic Homicide Unit.
