Members with the credit union and others celebrated the first steps toward the construction of their new facility on 23rd Street in Panama City.

CEO Jim Warren said the new branch would be about 13,000 square feet, making it their largest facility. He said the site will serve a full-service branch that will also house a Mortgage Center. .

“It is going to be very busy, right now we already do more mortgages than any other local financial institution in Bay County, over a $100 million in mortgages. This will be the headquarters for that,” said Warren.

Warren said the new site is expected to be completed at the beginning of 2021.
