PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - A national organization, known for giving back after disasters, made a stop in Panama City.
The Tzu Chi Foundation stopped by Daffin Park in Millville Saturday afternoon to hand out supplies to some of the more disadvantaged in our area.
They handed out blankets, first aid kits, as well as cash debit cards ranging from $400 to $800.
Officials within the organization say they're happy to give to those in need.
Robert Lynch, the Orlando Director of the Tzu Chi Foundation said, "We all walk the same ground we all breathe the same air, they're just like us. Wherever there is need, we want to try and be there to help people."
Panama City Mayor Greg Brudnicki and Panama City Commisioner Jenna Haligas were on hand as well.
