UPDATE: Alabama man behind 'BOLO' alert found

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WJHG/WECP) - UPDATE (2/17/19): The following information is from the Alabama State Bureau of Investigation:

"On Sunday, February 17, 2019, the Montgomery County Alabama Sheriff’s Office received a tip from a citizen identifying the vehicle Chad Green was last seen driving. Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputies located and pursued Green for a short distance on Interstate 65, and conducted a traffic stop near Southern Boulevard at approximately 4:54 PM. During the traffic stop, Green suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound and was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead at approximately 6:20 PM."
Original Story (2/16/19): Law enforcement agencies in our area are sharing photos of a wanted suspect out of Alabama who is believed to be armed and dangerous.

The Alabama State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) sent out a release Saturday after a woman died from what is believed to be a gunshot wound.

The SBI responded to a firearm assault at the request of Samson Police Chief James Hill.

When Samson police received reports of a firearm assault Saturday morning, they found Sarah Cooper, 33, of Samson, suffering from what is believed to be a gunshot wound.

She was reportedly taken to the hospital where she died from her injuries.

SBI officials said James Chadwick Green, 45, of Samson fled the scene and his whereabouts are unknown.

He was last seen driving a red 2017 Toyota truck with an Alabama license plate reading “CHAD1."

Officials said he is wanted for the questioning in the death of Cooper.

Green is described as, "a white male, 6’02”, 180 lbs. with brown hair (balding) and Hazel eyes. Green typically wears a goatee and a ball cap and is believed to be armed and dangerous."
