Unarmed robbery in Fort Walton Beach

FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Friday morning, Fort Walton Beach police responded to a robbery at the Shell gas station.

Officials say a 60-year-old white man came into the gas station and demanded money.

The man was reportedly wearing black shorts with a black t-shirt and had pock marks on his face.

The suspect was last seen running east away from the store.

The cashier did not see any weapons and no one was injured during the robbery.

Fort Walton Beach High School and Edwins Elementary were notified to activate a lockdown at their discretion.
