A local vet office is making sure your pets get the care they need, while on wheels.

Emerald Coast Mobile Vet opened up its doors back in September. Since then, they've been in front of Dillards at the Panama City Mall every Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

They're able to do everything a regular veterinary office can do, like vaccinate your pets, treat them for emergencies, or even do surgery.

Dr. Abbi Dacosta, the veterinarian at Emerald Coast Mobile Vet, said,

"As of Sundays, we are the only non-emergency vet clinic that's open in town, and weekends are a lot of times when stuff happens with peoples pets, so we want to have that availability for people in town."

During the week, they make trips to homes for people who can't drive to the clinic.
