The conference serves as a way to bring together sports event owners and rights holders, the kick-off event featured food, games, and prizes.

Organizers with Visit Panama City Beach say the event serves as a way to bring in a variety of different sports and teams to the area.

Richard Sanders, the Vice President of Sports and Special Events for Visit Panama City Beach said, "The main end-goal for us is exposure. To get as many of these event right holders out here to see this new sports facility, as well as taking the time to show them Frank Brown Park also, to show them what this destination has to offer in sports."
