Walton County looks to spend almost $2 million on land for new TDC location

WALTON COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Walton County is looking to spend almost $2 million on a new tourist development center.

At Tuesday's county commission meeting, the board approved a resolution to bring forward $1.9 million of tourist development fund reserves for the purchase of land.

County officials have been in negotiations for months to buy land next to the South Annex on Highway 331 for a more accessible TDC center location.
