SANTA ROSA BEACH, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - A two-month-old is recovering from skull fractures and internal hemorrhaging after reportedly being violently shaken.

Walton County Sheriff's officials say Skyler Pickren, 20, was arrested Wednesday after telling investigators he shook the baby multiple times over a period of 10-15 minutes when he couldn't get it to calm down.

Investigators were alerted to the incident after deputies were called to a home in Santa Rosa Beach Tuesday in reference to a baby that was limp and not breathing.

Pickren is facing aggravated child abuse charges, but more charges could be coming.
