Good Wednesday morning everyone!
It's a quiet start on VIPIR 7 Doppler Radar with with clear skies overhead. However, at the surface we have some fog, and particularly thick in our eastern zones so far. We'll see this fog deck drift further west through the morning either producing some early morning visibility problems or lifting out as early morning clouds.
Otherwise, it's a bit more comfy this morning than cold, with most starting out in the 50s or near 60 on the coast. The mild feel and increase in moisture is still coming from the easterly flow generated at the base of a Mid-Atlantic ridge of high pressure.
Once the temperatures start to warm up at the surface we'll continue to see that morning fog or cloud deck disperse. By midday we'll be looking at mostly sunny skies, and the afternoon should be chalk full of sunshine and warm temps. Afternoon highs today will push the upper 70s near 80 degrees in some spots!
We'll keep the mild easterly flow continuing for the next couple days. But a frontal system to the west will begin to slide our direction on Friday and into Saturday, possibly bringing a few light showers.
For today, fog or clouds in the morning hours will lift out to sunshine in the afternoon. Highs today will be in the upper 70s near 80 degrees.
Your VIPIR 7 Day Forecast continues the above average temperatures in the mornings and the afternoons through the upcoming weekend.
