Good Wednesday morning everyone!
It's a quiet start on radar despite some upper level clouds cruising our skies this morning. It led to a brief but beautiful sunrise!
Otherwise, temperatures are cool with many in the low 60s on the coast to upper 50s inland. A fairly similar start to where we were yesterday, so if you brought or needed that light jacket for the early morning hours than go ahead and do so today as well. It'll be another fairly beautiful spring-like day over NWFL again today with mostly to partly sunny skies and highs reaching the low to mid 70s on the coast to upper 70s near 80° inland. However, we'll have some minor changes today in winds and humidity.
Southeasterly winds will get a bit breezy at times today, especially in some coastal locations. But those winds start to feed in a bit more moisture and humidity as dew points rise back into the sticky feeling 60s over the next couple days. It won't be overbearing humidity by any means, and all things considered, it's going to be a beautiful day!
That rising humidity will help create a bit more cloud cover at times today and into the rest of the week as an approaching frontal system attempts to stir up some rain chances by the end of the week. The warm front nears as we head into tomorrow and that could stir up a stray shower around the Choctawhatchee Bay or areas in the far Western Panhandle. But the better chance at a few showers will come along with the cold frontal passage on Friday, where some scattered showers and rumbles of thunder will be possible throughout the day. A few showers may even linger into early Saturday morning while this front moves out and cools us off into the 60s for afternoon highs both Saturday and Sunday.
For today, mostly to partly sunny skies and very spring-like with slightly breezy southeasterly winds. Highs today reach the low to mid 70s on the coast to upper 70s near 80° inland. Your 7 Day Forecast keeps the spring-like warmth around through the rest of the work week with a mix of sun and clouds, as well as, a shot at some rain by Friday.
