Good Wednesday morning everyone!

It's a quiet start on radar and satellite this morning. However, a band of showers and thunderstorms is developing to our west. We'll see that head our way today, kicking up some midday hit or miss scattered showers or thunderstorms.

It's another warm and humid start, down right oppressive on the coast again. Temperatures are starting out in or around the 80s on the coast to mid 70s inland. With temperatures and dew points in the 70s away from the coast you may see a bit of patchy dense fog. That shouldn't last long this morning, as we'll warm quickly, even under mainly to mostly cloudy skies.

We'll see our skies turn partly cloudy this morning. Highs will warm into the mid 80s for the beaches to upper 80s near 90 away from the coast with feels like temepratures returning to the 90s.

With increasing warmth in an already very moist atmosphere, as well as, lift from and approaching frontal boundary, we'll see some scattered hit or miss showers or thunderstorms developing through the midday. Rain chances today will fall around 30% on the coast to 40% inland.

This front will slow down on it passage through the panhandle and may stir help stir up a few showers overnight tonight and into tomorrow morning. The greater chance on Thursday will be along or east of Hwy231 to the Forgotten Coast by tomorrow morning as the front sets up over the Big Bend by the midday.

Our winds will start to shift to the north through the day on Thursday. While we'll still be warm with highs reaching the 90s, it should start to feel like a more tolerable heat as our humidity will turn down a bit.

That carries over into Friday and into the weekend, and with a lack of moisture, rain chances will be low around 10-20%.

Bottom Line...

For today, mostly to partly cloudy skies with scattered hit or miss, small & quick, showers or thunderstorms possible through the midday. Some rain could be briefly heavy. Otherwise, hot and humid with highs in the mid 80s on the beaches to the upper 80s near 90 inland. Heat indices return to the mid to upper 90s. Your 7 Day Forecast keeps brings in a nice stretch of weather for the late week and weekend.
