UPDATE 03/06/2019 5:30 p.m.

The notice has been lifted.

If you are connected to Wewahitchka's city water, you're under a precautionary boil water notice.

City leaders say a hole was drilled into a water line, causing a loss in water pressure. As a precaution, city leaders say all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes should be boiled.

The notice will stay in effect until a bacteriological survey shows the water is safe to drink.
