Woman accused of forging prescriptions arrested

LYNN HAVEN, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - A Southport woman is facing charges after Lynn Haven Police say she tried to pas a fake prescription at two pharmacies.

Police say they arrested Kaitland Poole, also known as Kaitland Shannon, on four counts of obtaining a controlled substance by fraud.

Police say Poole used to work at a local physician's office. They say she used her position in a medical office to acquire, forge, and transmit fake prescriptions for Percocet, a powerful pain killer. They say she also acquired Phentermine, an appetite suppressant.
