Woman's Club of Panama City hosts party for ESOL students
Bay County is a melting pot of cultures, and the Woman's Club of Panama City celebrated that on Thursday.
More than 100 students involved in English for Speakers of Other Languages, or ESOL, programs across Bay County attended a party held in their honor at the Woman's Club. It gave the students a chance to feel appreciated for the impact they make in their communities.
Students in attendance hailed from countries such as Brazil, Honduras, and Uzbekistan, and spoke languages ranging from Spanish to Arabic to Tagalog.
