LYNN HAVEN, FL (WJHG/WECP) It is safe to say the Mosley baseball program has improved well before the season begins in the winter.
Mosley the beneficiary in the transfer of senior lefty Ryan Pettys, who is already good enough to have a solid scholarship offer from Florida State in hand.
Pettys the ace of the Arnold staff the last couple of seasons, has already enrolled and is attending classes at Mosley, and even working out with the Mosley baseball team. All that confirmed to us by Mosley head coach Jon Hudson, who did not wish to comment other than to confirm the transfer.
Pettys is 6 foot 2, and coming off a 7-4 season at Arnold, with a 1.40 earned run average and more than 90 strikeouts in 54 innings pitched.
He should team nicely with Mosley ace Brayden Gainey, among others at Mosley, to form a impressive rotation for coach Hudson and the Dolphins in the 2018 season.
