PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Many area teams playing district finals Friday or Saturday.

That includes Bay and Mosley, who meet for the 6A-1 title.

The 'fins beat Arnold in their semifinal, and won the two previous meetings with bay.

The tornadoes beat rival Rutherford, a bit of a hurdle for bay to get over. Now another one, as Mosley's beaten bay twice this season.

Coach Rusty Cook is hoping the third time's the charm, and has reason for confidence given that first half charge in the win over Rutherford.

I'd say that first half was a really good half. We had a lead and sometimes--I told the kids at halftime that Rutherford was going to make a run. Without a doubt, they were going to make a run. The amazing thing is, we talked about peaking at the right time. Early in the year, it was hard for us to put together four quarters of basketball, but during that game we were able to put together four quarters of basketball."

Tip off is set for 7 p.m. at Gulf Coast.
