PANAMA CITY BEACH, FL (WJHG/WECP) Call it an interesting way to get in a few holes if work keeps you busy until the sun goes down! The folks at Bay Point will be lighting up three holes on the Nicklaus Course Thursday evening, to give golfers a taste of what it's like to battle par in the dark!
"We've got a great kit, we're gonna line the fairways with LED's and have flag sticks that light up." Ryan Mulvey, Bay Point's Director of Golf tells us. "We have golf balls, LED golf balls that light up. And we're just gonna let people play three holes of night golf, that may have never played at night before. You know we're not just giving them a ball and a glow stick, we're setting up the course, it's gonna look pretty awesome, we're gonna have a lot of fun Thursday night."
Actually as part of a "Junior Ryder Cup" event Bay Point hosted last summer, they did this for the kids participating. This time around anyone can go out and play for $15. If interested, click on the link to Bay Point that's attached.
