Can the Chipley Tigers start the season 3-0? Well in order to do so, they will have to come south and get a win at Bozeman in a battle of 1A teams.

The Bucks coming in 1-1, beating Liberty in their opener, followed by a loss at Holmes.

The Tigers are 2-0 starting with a win against one rival Marianna.

And then another, Graceville last week. So coach Wilson with much to like about his team two weeks in.

"I just like that, of course that we're two and oh, but that the kids have come together." Chipley head coach Blake Wilson told us. "You know they're 11, but out of that 11 they're one unit. And they all play together. There's no individuality on the team. We just play together and play as a team and I think that's helped us so far."

Coach Wilson says like most teams in the area, the Tigers have been hampered by the weather, in terms of practicing in recent days. He says that's something you just have to deal with, and he's not too concerned it will affect his team come Friday.

That game one of several we'll feature on Friday Night Overtime.
