Mosley Volleyball starts back up
Phase 2 is in full swing, and the Mosley volleyball team is ringing it in with two a-day practices. In the morning, they are conditioning, and in the afternoon, they're working with the ball. Head coach Michelle Mask says she has 8 varsity returners, 10 junior varsity returners and a whole lot of talent in the incoming freshman class.
“Social distancing. The girls have to wash their hands before practice, after practice, keep them apart as much as you can. That's hard when you have girls who haven't seen each other all summer, and they're excited to see each other. For the most part, they've been pretty good. We do temperature checks when they get here. We ask them all the pertinent questions. That's just a process, and we've been blessed that everyone's been good. Everyone's been healthy. I don't think we have had any family members affected by it, so we are blessed in that fact. It has been interesting. It has been difficult because we have to keep the girls as separated as possible,” said Coach Mask.
The season will start in early august, and coach Mask says "as long as we work like we are the best, we can be the best." with their end goal being to take state by storm this year.
