The Panama City Beach Sports Complex welcomed 100 teams of softball and baseball to the park May 29-31 for tournaments.

The "Perfect Game" baseball tournament started Friday, May 29, 2020, with 50 teams from all over the southeast.

The tournament served as the first for the summer season at the park, and was unique to many coaches and players because it was the first games of baseball they were able to participate in since the pandemic struck.

One local Panama City Beach 13U baseball team, Aces Elite, got runner-up at the tournament losing to Team Elite 13U National 5-0.

The USFA softball tournament started Saturday morning with over 50 teams traveling from four different states to compete.

The tournament ran through Sunday night.

In the high school division, Adiktiv Elite, from Panama City Beach, had all three teams place first (Gold), second (Black), and third (white).
