Panama City Seminole Club welcomes Taggart

PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Spring football is over for Florida State, but the Spring Tour is just beginning.

Head coach Willie Taggart, junior defensive lineman Janarius Robinson, wide receiver Keishawn Helton, and FSU legend Peter Warrick all made the trek to Panama City Beach as invitees for the Panama City Seminole Club spring dinner at Edgewater Beach and Golf Resort.

For the second year in a row, Taggart was the main attraction, signing autographs and posing for pictures before dinner. After dinner, Taggart joined Seminoles' radio play by play announcer Gene Deckerhoff for a question and answer session.

It's a similar routine to his first year, but he's feeling more at ease this time around.

"You know what to expect now when you go around," Taggart said, making his second stop of the tour behind Jacksonville. "I think from that standpoint you get comfortable, but it's always great to be with your fan base and see the excitement they have and the passion they have for your school and your football program. We've had it everywhere we've gone."

Bay alum Janarius Robinson is also back in town, doing his part to support the community after Hurricane Michael. We'll hear more about his efforts and his family's recovery Friday night on NewsChannel 7.
