Saturday morning at Wewa, six teams assembled to play one half each in the region's first batch of preseason scrimmages.
Port St. Joe played Liberty in the first scrimmage, with six different players scoring touchdowns (four offensive, two defensive) in a 41-0 victory.
In the second scrimmage, Vernon topped Rutherford 18-7.
The hosting Gators fell 20-6 against Blountstown in the day's final matchup.
