Two more senior, Walters and Watson, have their say
On to our next two Senior Spotlights and the first of those, the light shines here on North Bay Haven softball senior Katie Walters.
She writes to me "What I miss most about softball is going out on to the field every day and being with my teammates!
Fortunately the shortened senior season did not mean the end of Katie's softball career. She plans to play travel ball over the summer, and in August she is set to head west to continue her academic and athletic careers at Northwest Florida, she'll play for coach Lee and the Lady Raiders!
And the second of our Seniors in the Spotlight here, South Walton baseball player Cade Watson.
Cade writes to me "What I love most about the sport is joking with teammates at practices and the whole aspect of the game.
And when I'm on the field playing all my stress goes away and I'm focused on one thing."
He goes on to write "What I will miss most about it is my teammates that I have met over the past few years and all of the jokes and bus rides. Most importantly I will miss my final season as a senior!
I am lucky enough to go on to play college baseball at TCC but I will never forget the memories I made throughout the years and I wish the best of luck to the future Seahawks."
