Two more seniors, Gracie Price and Emily Gilmore, have their say

WEWAHITCHKA/GRACEVILLE, FL (WJHG/WECP) Now to our next two Senior Spotlights, and the first of those shines on Gracie Price, who's been a starter for the Gators since she was in the 7th grade, 6 years she's been anchoring things from behind home plate!

Innovations Federal Credit Union Senior Sports Spotlight

"Hi my name is Gracie Price and I play softball for Wewahitchka High School. What I love most about softball is all the friends and memories that I've created throughout my time playing. Softball has taught me many life lessons that I will remember forever. What I miss most about playing softball is definitely being on the field with my teammates!"

Gracie will continue softball and her academics with coach Scot Thomas and the Gulf Coast Commodores come the fall.

Another softball owns the Spotlight next, that's Emily Gilmore of Poplar Springs.

"What I love most is that we're all a team and you definitely have to work as a team. When somebody falls you've got to pick them back up. And just as long as we're together and we keep playing, we're gonna win. I'll probably miss just getting to see everyone. Before games we'd all go out to eat. And hang out at each other's houses and just get ready to be together the whole night. And just get our heads together to be in the whole game, and I just really miss that."
