More than 3000 invoices are being inspected to determine if the former Gulf County Ambulance Service Director misused Gulf County funds.
Shane McGuffin resigned as Director of Emergency Medical Services June 1 when confronted with allegations he had used the county's purchasing power for his own use.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement confirmed last week it was reviewing the allegations.
The Gulf County administrator told NewsChannel Seven Tuesday he has reviewed about a fourth of the estimated 3000 invoices. The purchases range from cell phones to medical supplies, travel, office supplies, and postage, among others.
