Salvation Army to provide holiday help to Bay County residents

The Salvation Army of Panama City announced it will be providing holiday assistance to Bay County residents this week.

The Compassionate Friends of Bay County took part in the annual Worldwide Candle Lighting ceremony.

The city held its Hope and Healing event at Joe and Jeannette Chapman Field at Tommy Oliver Stadium in Panama City.

Many people are taking action to help those impacted by Hurricane Michael, but some of those making a difference are teenagers.
