More than 100 quilts were on display at the Holley Center at Florida State University, Panama City.
It's estimated around 700 people attended the show.
One co-chair of the quilting show said quilts are an important part of their heritage and a way to pass down memories.
"It's important for us as part of our heritage that we have quilts to share, they remind our family members after we're gone with something we made, and they're important in that they're a piece of art that we have made and that the community will have always," said Quilt Show co-chair Beverly Pierzchala.
Some of the quilts were made for the families that will attend the next warrior beach retreat in April.
