Two "Apple of our Eye" awards were given to Planet Fitness for new construction and Coldwell Banker Carroll Realty for renovation. The featured speaker was Southern Region Railroads at Genesee & Wyoming Director of Marketing Donnie Mason.

Mason touched on services the Bay Line Railroad offers to customers. He also spoke about how Bay Line Railroad's parent company stepped in after Hurricane Michael.

"The company stepped up, Genesee and Wyoming as a parent company stepped up, supported a lot of the families that were displaced, helped with food and shelter, and all that," Donnie Mason said. "So very proud of what Genesee and Wyoming did for our folks, and we offered it to our customers as well, anybody who needed help."

Mason also says there's a lot of expansion opportunities at their customer level that they support.
