Coast Guard searching for two men on overdue vessel in Mobile Bay

MOBILE, Ala. - The Coast Guard is searching for two people on an overdue vessel in Mobile Bay, Alabama.

Officials say Floyd Nelson, 85, and David Stadman, 40, were aboard a 22-foot white Jon boat. A family member of one or two of the men said they were planning to fish between the Theodore Ship Channel and Gaillard Island Tuesday night and were supposed to return by 9 a.m. Wednesday.

At 6:30 p.m. the Coast Guard received a report that they had not returned. Multiple agencies are looking for them.
