Counterfeit money investigation leads to four arrests

PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Four people are facing charges in connection with a counterfeit currency investigation.

Panama City Beach police say Tuesday several businesses reported getting counterfeit money from two women. After getting surveillance video and a description of the suspects' vehicle, police pulled over the two suspects.

Kelly Gladney, 35, and Megan Bonderer, 31, both from Mississippi, were arrested and charged with uttering a forged instrument.

Police say the next day they searched the women's hotel room, where they found two more suspects, Austin Crispin, 27, and James Magnusen, 26, both from Mississippi. Police say in the room there were counterfeit bills and and items to make them. Both men were arrested and charged with possession of instruments for forgery.
