Crestview shooting sends one to hospital

CRESTVIEW, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - UPDATE 12/16/2019 4:43 p.m.:

Deputies say they are reviewing what happened at a shooting in the Crestview area Monday morning that sent one man to the hospital.

The Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office got a call about a "neighbor problem" around 9:30 a.m. They say Bobby Sullivan, 87, claimed his neighbor Jarrod Glenny, 37, threatened him with a stick. They say Sullivan called five minutes later saying a shooting had taken place near his property on Golden Acres Circle.

When deputies got to the scene they treated Glenny until EMS arrived. Gleeny was taken to a nearby hospital via helicopter. We are told he is in critical condition.

Sullivan says Glenny attacked him with a stick, hitting several times before he fired his gun.
One person was hurt and another is being held at the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office after a shooting Monday morning.

Deputies say the shooting happened on Golden Acres Circle in the Crestview area.

They say one person was taken to a local hospital with gunshot wounds. They say another person is being questioned by deputies are this time.
