Daughters of the American Revolution celebrate Constitution Week

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - The St. Andrew Bay chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution kicked off its Constitution Week celebration with a luncheon at the St. Andrew Bay Yacht Club Wednesday.

Constitution Week is celebrated every year from September 17-23 and commemorates the anniversary of the signing of the Constitution. This year marks the 232nd anniversary.

The Daughters of the American Revolution is an organization consisting of women who are direct descendants of individuals involved in the United States efforts toward independence.
