Dr. Ingram will be missed by staff at Emerald Coast OBGYN and the community

BAY COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - A well-known doctor who delivered hundreds of babies in Panama City died suddenly Wednesday. We spoke to Emerald Coast OBGYN about the impact he left on so many people.

Dr. Michael Ingram has been a part of the community for 24 years. Those who worked alongside him say he was one-of-a-kind. He was caring with every one of his patients and staff members. Dr. Henry Breland says the entire staff will miss working alongside Dr. Ingram.

"He just loved to enjoy himself and to laugh and when Dr. Ingram was in clinic or you were anywhere around his room, it seemed like every third patient or so he's coming out of the room and he's just cackling, and laughing and cutting-up with the patients and I'm going to miss that a lot," Dr. Breland said.

Services will be at Kent-Forest Lawn funeral home on Monday at 1 p.m. and are open to the public.
