PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - More than $10 million is coming to Panama City for debris removal costs after Hurricane Michael.
FEMA announced Monday it has approved $10,339,749 for the state of Florida to reimburse Panama City.
FEMA officials say between October 10, 2018, and November 24, 2018, workers removed 1,283,053 cubic yards of debris from public rights of way.
This is the second half of tan expedited project. The first half was awarded in March 2019. The total cost of this project was $20,333,489.
